About RHD
ACCESS SPORTS is a member of the New Beginnings Nonprofit Incubator Program of Resources for Human Development, Inc. (RHD). New Beginnings provides a broad range of technical assistance services: fiscal management, office space, insurance coverage, and IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
New Beginnings has allowed ACCEESS SPORTS to grow its program in the face of the ever-changing demands in the non-profit arena. The relationship with RHD also gives ACCESS SPORTS built-in access to many residential and day treatment programs that can fully utilize our services. However, New Beginnings does not subsidize any of its programs and ACCESS SPORTS is responsible for acquiring all funding required to successfully run its operations. Since its inception in 1981, the New Beginnings Incubator has helped dozens of regional start-ups grow into successful non-profits such as the Please Touch Museum, ARTREACH, Feeling Blue Suicide Prevention Council, Working Wardrobe, Philadelphia Cares and many more!
